Lions' Field General Capping Off an All-Time Record Career.

Prattville Lions' E. J. Ousley passed a big milestone against Central Phenix City two week ago. The senior quarterback surpassed 4,000 yards passing for his career. His current mark of 4,083 yards ranks him second all time in passing in Prattville High School history ahead of the number three all-time passer Georgia Tech Legend Justin Thomas (3,573 yards) and Mississippi State great Matt Wyatt (2,950 yards). Ousley trails only the all time mark of 5,899 passing yards by former Mr. Football and Vanderbilt great Larry Smith. Though the all-time record is out of reach, Ousley still has an opportunity to capture the single season record. With two regular season and at least one playoff game remaining, Ousley just needs 570 yards to pass the top single season passing mark mark of 2,240 yards set by Kyle Kramer in 2019. Last season, Ousley fell just 8 yards short of Kramer's record.
